About Ed Atkinson
Ed founded Atkinson Law to provide clients with direct attorney involvement and legal representation tailored to their individual circumstances. Rather than treating an injury claim as one more file in a high-volume practice, Ed focuses on understanding how the accident occurred, how the injuries have affected the client and what evidence is needed to support the claim.
His professional background includes courtroom litigation, public-defense work and experience on the insurance-defense side of accident claims. This experience helps Ed understand how insurers investigate accidents, question liability, review medical treatment and evaluate damages.

Education and Approach to Advocacy
Ed earned his bachelor’s degree in Classical Languages and Literature from the University of Michigan, where he studied Latin and Ancient Greek and received the Phillips Prize for Latin Translation. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law.
His study of classical language, history and advocacy helped shape his interest in persuasive communication, careful analysis and the attorney’s responsibility to represent clients effectively.
